Lecture “The Belgians aboard Titanic” – Philippe Delaunoy, September 18 (FR)
08-07-2014

Who were the 27 Belgians onboard Titanic? Why did they board this famous ship? Is it true that one of the musicians from the famous Titanic ensemble was a Belgian? An amazing story you can discover right now in the unique setting that Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition offers.

Titanic expert for over thirty years, Philippe Delaunoy published several articles in historical publications on Titanic and Sea History (Encyclopedia Titanica, Titanic-Titanic). During his research, he focused on the story of Georges Krins, the Belgian violinist aboard Titanic. Member of the Nomadic Preservation Society, his research and discoveries have contributing to the legacy of the last vessel of the White Star Line, SS Nomadic.

An opportunity you can’t miss to discover the story of the Belgians thanks to one of the greatest Belgian Titanic and White Star Line researchers!
